He is always giving them the message of hope, persuading them to overcome life’s obstacles, grasp opportunities for self-improvement, increase their confidence and encouraging them to strive to reach their aspirations.
During the past several years, Pastor Ronald Brown and Evangelist Cynthia Brown, along with other volunteers have ministered to hundreds of young people, encouraging them to live “life victoriously”; providing resources and support. From November 1, 2003 until July 2006 when God called him to pastor the Life in Victory Youth Outreach Center, a place where young people could assemble for tutoring, mentoring, counseling and bible study.
On January 24, 2006 God led Pastor and Evangelist Brown to a dilapidated warehouse. The warehouse was renovated and finally on October 21, 2007 Pastor and Evangelist Brown opened Life In Victory Outreach Church at 5600 Marlboro Pike, District Heights, Maryland. Where they are seeing souls saved, people being delivered and set free.
Mission Statement
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.
We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons:
God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance: faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
Amen.
